{"id":28292,"date":"2023-02-22T15:02:54","date_gmt":"2023-02-22T14:02:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wydzialy.uksw.edu.pl\/wpia\/international-cooperation\/"},"modified":"2023-02-22T15:15:22","modified_gmt":"2023-02-22T14:15:22","slug":"international-cooperation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wpia.uksw.edu.pl\/en\/international-cooperation\/","title":{"rendered":"International cooperation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Cardinal Stefan Wyszy\u0144ski University in Warsaw&nbsp;<\/strong>aims at developing the cooperation with prominent academic entities around the world, as well as strengthen its position among European universities and global scientific institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within Erasmus program our&nbsp;<strong>36 lecturers<\/strong>&nbsp;went to partner universities. They conducted lectures in, i.a.:&nbsp;<strong>Italy, Czech Republic, Romania, Portugal, Slovakia, Germany, Georgia, Great Britain, Lithuania, France, Turkey, Latvia&nbsp;<\/strong>and&nbsp;<strong>Slovenia<\/strong>. Our University welcomed lecturers from&nbsp;<strong>Bulgaria, Italy, Latvia&nbsp;<\/strong>and&nbsp;<strong>Slovenia.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So far, within Erasmus programme&nbsp;<strong>83 students<\/strong>&nbsp;went to partner universities;&nbsp;<strong>15<\/strong>&nbsp;went on student internship to, i.a.&nbsp;<strong>Belgium, Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal&nbsp;<\/strong>and&nbsp;<strong>Great Britain<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2013, within Erasmus programme&nbsp;<strong>56 students<\/strong>&nbsp;from&nbsp;<strong>Turkey, Germany, Georgia, Slovakia, Latvia, Italy, Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Spain&nbsp;<\/strong>and<strong>France<\/strong>&nbsp;came to Cardinal Stefan Wyszy\u0144ski University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>International cooperation involves also administrative employees. Within Erasmus programme,&nbsp;<strong>16 administrative employees<\/strong>&nbsp;went to, i.a.:&nbsp;<strong>Latvia, Portugal, Belgium, Italy, Great Britain, France&nbsp;<\/strong>and&nbsp;<strong>Czech Republic<\/strong>, to participate in training courses and enhanced their competences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cardinal Stefan Wyszy\u0144ski University engages in Bilateral cooperation and cooperation under European programmes. In 2013, our University cooperated with various foreign entities around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Cardinal Stefan Wyszy\u0144ski University is also involved in other international programmes, such as:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&nbsp;<strong>International Visegrad Fund<\/strong><br>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>CEEPUS<\/strong>(Central European Exchange Program for University Studies) ? an international exchange program involving universities that offer joint-degree programs, especially joint-doctoral programs among member countries in Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkan Peninsula (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ceepus.info\/\">http:\/\/www.ceepus.info\/<\/a>)<br>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Comenius programme<\/strong>(<a href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/education\/tools\/llp_en.htm\">http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/education\/tools\/llp_en.htm<\/a>)<br>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Intensive Programme (IP)<\/strong><br>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Fulbright Program<\/strong>&#8211; The Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government and is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. The Fulbright Program in Poland is one of the largest in Eastern and Central Europe. The Program was initiated in 1959. (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fulbright.edu.pl\/en\/home\/\">http:\/\/www.fulbright.edu.pl\/en\/home\/<\/a>)<br>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Free Mover Programme&nbsp;<\/strong>(<em>Free-movers are students who travel entirely on their own initiative<\/em>)<br>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service)&nbsp;<\/strong>? The DAAD is the world?s largest funding organisation for the international exchange of students and researchers. (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.daad.de\/en\/\">https:\/\/www.daad.de\/en\/<\/a>)<br>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>BUWiWM programmes&nbsp;<\/strong>(<a href=\"http:\/\/buwiwm.edu.pl\/\">http:\/\/buwiwm.edu.pl\/<\/a>)<br>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2013, we signed&nbsp;<strong>5 new cooperation agreements<\/strong>&nbsp;with universities in&nbsp;<strong>Belarus, Croatia, Russia, Slovenia&nbsp;<\/strong>and&nbsp;<strong>Czech Republic.<\/strong>&nbsp;Within Erasmus Programme,Cardinal Stefan Wyszy\u0144ski University in Warsaw cooperated with foreign universities under&nbsp;<strong>160&nbsp; Bilateral Agreements&nbsp;<\/strong>and signed&nbsp;<strong>25 new cooperation agreements<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cardinal Stefan Wyszy\u0144ski University in Warsaw is a member of the European Associations promoting education and cooperation between partner universities, i.e.:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>FIUCE (F\u00e9d\u00e9ration des Universit\u00e9s Catholiques Europ\u00e9ennes) &#8211; International Federation of Catholic Universities&#8217; (IFCU\/FIUC) is an organisation of over 200 Catholic universities throughout the world.
