Administration
Graduates of the Administration Faculty are fully trained to works in public business and local government. During studies apart from researching problems closely related to the sphere of the public administration activity, students will learn all basic disciplines of legal knowledge. The primary purpose of education is to prepare the Administration graduate to perform managerial functions in the widely understood administration. Studying at the Administration Faculty prepares future officials for the proper, efficient management and performance of tasks connected with work in state institutions and in private companies.
First degree studies (Bachelor?s degree)
A graduate of this faculty and degree receives a Bachelor?s degree and is prepared to work in public administration in both central and local government, as well as non public institutions and entities.The graduate is also prepared to undertake and conduct commercial activity.
Second degree studies (complementary program, Master?s degree )
A graduate of this faculty and degree receives a Master?s degree and is prepared to work (after the acquisition of the relevant professional experience) managerial functions in the civil service and independent work in public administration bodies, institutions and non-governmental entities, as well as in enterprises cooperating with the EU member states. Moreover, the graduate is prepared to work in offices dealing with international relations and European integration.

Law
Legal studies are single-cycle studies (they are not two-cycle studies) as well as universal studies (preparing equally for all legal professions).
A graduate of day and extramural studies can apply for admission to all legal applications: attorney, legal counsel, judge, prosecutor, notary or legislative. He or she is also prepared to work in public authorities (the police and other uniformed services, tax administration bodies, state agencies, institutions of the European Union), as well as in non-public institutions and organizations requiring legal knowledge. A graduate completing this faculty will be prepared to perform all legal professions in Poland and other European Union countries.
A graduate is prepared to understand and apply the law. He or she can use general knowledge of the disciplines of law supplemented with the theory and philosophy of law and political and legal doctrines, as well as the knowledge of the other social sciences; also basic economic knowledge. He or she can use knowledge in his or her work with the principles of ethics. A graduate understands legal texts and uses the rules of logical reasoning. After graduation, he or she has the opportunity to further specialization in any area of ??Polish or foreign law. The graduate is prepared for application of civil, administrative and criminal law in practice and participation in the life of state and government bodies and local government administration.
The knowledge acquired by students of the Faculty during the classes can be put into practice through the implementation of student apprenticeships taking place, among others, in the organs of central and local government and in the public prosecutors’ offices, courts, law firms. They are also acquainted with the work of, i.a., lay judges, probation officers and clerks.
The curriculum at the Faculty of law provides also the opportunity to broaden general knowledge with specialized information taught at numerous seminars conducted in foreign languages. The study program includes classes in computer science for lawyers.
Graduates have interpersonal and communication skills to communicate in legal decision-making process and act as negotiators or mediators in situations where the law of mediation is indicated as a preferred settlement of disputes.
International Relations
The program of the International Relations faculty covers all major dimensions of contemporary international relations in Europe and in the world: politics, society, economy, culture, law, national and international security.
Graduates are prepared to perform a variety of important roles in the socio-political, economic and cultural life in a quickly advancing global and regional integration. A graduate in International Relations has a working knowledge of international law and international organizations, has general knowledge of social, economic and political conditions in international relations and in-depth knowledge of relations in different regions, with particular emphasis on Polish foreign policy in the area.

A graduate of this faculty and degree receives a Bachelor’s degree and may take a job in public administration bodies dealing with international relations, in international organizations and institutions, in companies developing international cooperation, cultural and other institutions dealing with international issues.
Since the academic year 2015/2016, at the Faculty of Law and Administration at Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University three specializations aimed at gaining knowledge, competence and practical skills necessary to search and perform work in the following sectors will be introduced:

III. International institutions
Second degree studies (complementary program, Master’s degree)
A graduate of this faculty and degree receives a Master’s degree and will be prepared to work in offices and companies cooperating with their foreign counterparts and international organizations and institutions, governmental and non-European, regional and global. He or she may take a job as an analyst and specialist in the state administration and local government, international organizations and institutions or national institutions co-operating with foreign countries, as well as in firms operating in international markets.
Since the academic year 2015/2016, at the Faculty of Law and Administration at Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University two specializations aimed at gaining knowledge, competence and practical skills in the following sectors will be introduced:

Postgraduate Studies
Postgraduate studies conducted at the Faculty of Law and Administration at Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University are a proposal for people who want to improve themselves professionally, expand their horizons and update their knowledge. They are also addressed to those who plan a change in a job profile or retraining.
We invite to study those persons who have both a Master’s degree and/or Bachelor’s degree, as well as the final year students of Master’s program.
Business Law
Cybersecurity and protection of information resources
under the patronage of the Ministry of Administration and Digitization
Digitization of resources and widespread use of modern technologies make efficient execution of public activities or implementation of business goals is dependent on security of information resources and services, and the ICT infrastructure that enables the use of cyberspace.
The answer of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University on the increasing demand for experts in the field of cybersecurity and information protection on the labour market is two-semester postgraduate studiesaddressed to persons employed in both the public sector and the private sector in positions requiring knowledge and skills in information security (including cybersecurity), personal data protection, protection of classified information and legal aspects of informatization.
The aim of the studies is to provide knowledge on legal regulations of cybersecurity, data protection, protection of classified information, protection of secrets protected by law and access to public information, procedures and good practices in this field and indication of legal, organizational and technical protection methods of information resources and systems. Graduates of the studies will gain the necessary competence to perform the functions of a plenipotentiary for cybersecurity, and the knowledge and practical skills required in the position of an administrator of information security and a plenipotentiary for protection of classified information. A graduate will also be prepared to work in positions related to provision of public information.

The field of study reflects the modern image of economic and tax crime. The study program is divided into four thematic modules. The first module relates to the wider protection of business transactions, under which not only the individual economic crimes will be discussed, but also the specific disputes, such as conflicts of jurisdiction in cross-border economic crime. The second module provides the issues relating to criminal law protection against the unfair competition, taking into account the latest regulations in this regard. The third module covers the topics of tax offenses, within which a.o. the carousel fraud will be discussed. The entire program is complemented by a fourth module, which is devoted to mediation in the area of economic crime and is perfectly keeping up with the current philosophy of punishment, emphasizing the alternative dispute resolution.
The study program has been composed to suit the current needs of practice. Classes will be conducted taking into account the specific problems and issues posing the greatest difficulties in practice. Studies are addressed to the members of the judiciary, judges, prosecutors, lawyers, solicitors, as well as to employees of tax offices, fiscal control, customs chambers, banks, the auditors and managers of companies. We also invite university graduates who want to explore the knowledge of economic and fiscal crime.
Evidence Law
Studies are addressed to the members of the judiciary, judges, prosecutors, lawyers, police staff and other services, as well as university graduates who want to explore the knowledge of the evidence and forensics law. The program of the studies includes also the issues relating to the entering into force of amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code, concerning, a. o., adversarial criminal process, which completely changes the rules of evidence. The studies focus primarily on the practical aspects of the probative value and the assess of the reliability of the individual evidence, which, in the light of the new model in the criminal process, is crucial.
Legal and Information Studies in the field of Data Protection and Classified Information
Man in Cyberspace
Two-semester postgraduate studies “Man in Cyberspace” are addressed primarily to employees of public institutions involved in projects in the area of ICT/IT and cyber security. They will enable graduates not only to gain unique knowledge, contact with the experts in the field of cyber security and new technologies but also to achieve the prestigious IBM SPSS Expert certificates proving competence in the area of ICT/IT.
Graduate program “Man in Cyberspace” is interdisciplinary, based on the potential of the four conducted majors – law, computer science, sociology and economics. Classes will be conducted by top specialists in the field of science and practice. The exam in the end of the program precedes obtaining a university diploma.
